I love to bake.
I especially love to bake cookies.
I don’t bake nearly as much now that I’m on a grain-free/sugar-free/Paleo diet.
However, I get my baking fix in at Christmas time when I get to make goodies for all of my hubby’s co-workers.
I’m not sure what I’m going to make for everyone this year but here’s what I did last year.
And I think they turned out so cute!
Christmas Cookies
I love to package things up pretty but before I get into the packaging, here’s a peek at what I put inside my cookie boxes last year.
I tried to pick a nice variety of cookies. I had only one requirement. They must be soft and chewy!
I chose:
White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies
I purchased some food grade clear cellophane bags and packaged each type of cookie separately.
I labeled them and used candies and paper shred to decorate.
For the packaging I used some things I already had on hand. Other things, like the cellophane bags and clear top boxes, I ordered online.
Products I Used for Packaging:
red and white baker’s twine
red and green paper shred
I made 12 boxes, I think.
They looked so pretty all stacked up and ready to be delivered!
And just to keep it real…
My kitchen was a royal disaster.
I ended up with more cookies than I needed so I packed the extras up with a mini Christmas bow and gave them away to the mail carrier, neighbors, and anyone else we came across.
So, what kind of goodies are you whipping up in your kitchen this year?
