The Fat Quarter Shop is hosting a sew along for Lori Holt’s brand new book, Farm Girl Vintage 2 ! Each week they are sewing through two blocks from the book until the entire sampler quilt is completed!
This book is an absolute delight! Farm Girl Vintage 2 is the sequel to Lori Holt’s first book, Farm Girl Vintage, and contains all new farm fresh designs! There are 45 blocks in her new book along with some special projects, too, like pin cushions, doll quilts, and mini wall quilts.
I sewed up blocks 13-20 from the Farm Girl Vintage 2 book.

I used scraps from my fabric stash for my blocks, so each block is unique. The background fabric I chose is Kona Cotton Snow (K001-1339). This creamy white background fabric is perfectly suited for almost any quilt!

I have really enjoyed sewing these blocks! I’m using up scraps and it’s fun to just sew up a block or two whenever I can. I hope to continue sewing up blocks until I have all 45 blocks done! This sampler quilt would be a beautiful one to display or cozy up under on a chilly day!
